"When we call a wine ‘acoustic’, rather than electric, we are talking about a wine which seeks out and reclaims the roots, individuality and values of traditional viticulture. Produced using only local varieties (Garnatxa Negra, Peluda, red and white Carinyena, Macabeu and Pansal) as opposed to the "globalisation" of many wines which are so cosmetic and created using international varieties. We believe that traditional varieties are best suited to express the character and identity of this land and its culture. We seek to convey all the individuality, history, landscape and personality of Montsant. The philosophy is clear: acoustic wines, vineyard wines, unique wines, pure wines, imperfect wines, “unplugged”, non-cosmetic wines, based on the strength and uniqueness of the old vines."
