Born in Lansing, MI, Nathan's journey from studying Political Science at the University of Michigan to his current role as Associate Winemaker at Thomas Fogarty Winery & Vineyards reflects his commitment to authentic winemaking. With experiences spanning Northern California, Australia's Barossa Valley, and renowned wineries like Torbreck, Nathan's expertise lies in discovering unique vineyards outside traditional hotspots. His winemaking philosophy embraces native yeasts, whole cluster fermentations, and minimal sulfur, aiming to craft genuine wines that echo the distinct character of their origin.
