Château Jamard Belcour
.jpg)
Château Jamard Belcour is led by Franck Despagne, whose family roots in greater Saint-Émilion date back to 1665. He joined his father in 1986 and expanded the vineyards from 30 to over 60 acres, focusing on sites in the northern satellite appellations, now recognized for their quality and value.
This wine comes from 13 acres in Lussac Saint-Émilion, all on a single hillside and vinified entirely in concrete, with no oak influence. Fermentations are spontaneous, and the blend—90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc—reflects a restrained, terroir-driven style focused on balance and authenticity.
