Le Cadeau

Founded by Deb and Tom Mortimer in 1996, Le Cadeau Vineyard sits on Parrett Mountain in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, east of Newberg, Oregon. The vineyard, initially ten acres, expanded to sixteen acres with plantings of Pinot noir, including Pommard, Dijon clones 667 and 777, and Mariafeld. From the start, Le Cadeau exhibited a distinct character—fresh, intense aromatics, pure fruit flavors, and a unique earthiness. Despite collaborations with renowned winemakers, Le Cadeau emphasizes that great Pinot noir is crafted in the vineyard. With ongoing improvements and dedication to high farming standards, the vineyard anticipates its best wines in the coming years, showcasing its uniqueness through small-production cuvées.
