François is a legend in the Loire Valley, crafting some of the most distinctive and age-worthy Sauvignon Blancs in the world. His wines are made with a hands-off approach, allowing the terroir to shine through with every bottle. Whether it’s his stunning Sancerre or his rare, off-dry cuvées, François’s wines offer an experience that’s as unique as the man himself.

François Cotat follows traditional methods passed down through generations, focusing on minimal intervention in the cellar. The result? Wines that speak of the chalky soils and steep slopes of Chavignol.
